Meet Dr. Edward Adeniyi, MD, FACC.

Dr. Adeyinka “Edward” Adeniyi is a board-certified cardiologist dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and evidence-based cardiovascular care. He believes that every patient deserves to be heard, understood, and treated with the same level of care he would provide to his own family.

Originally from Lagos, Nigeria, Dr. Adeniyi’s journey to becoming a cardiologist is one of perseverance, faith, and a passion for serving others. He immigrated to the United States to pursue his education, earning scholarships to attend Lee University before obtaining his medical degree. He completed his Internal Medicine residency followed by advanced fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease, where he served as Chief Cardiology Fellow and was recognized for his leadership, clinical excellence, and commitment to education.

Dr. Adeniyi cares for patients with the full spectrum of cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertension, atrial fibrillation and other cardiac arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, and preventive cardiology. He has extensive experience in cardiac imaging, including echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, stress testing, and coronary CT angiography, allowing him to provide precise diagnoses and individualized treatment plans.

His philosophy of care centers on combining the latest advances in cardiovascular medicine with a personalized approach. He believes that exceptional cardiac care extends beyond prescribing medications it includes educating patients, empowering healthier lifestyles, identifying disease early, and partnering with patients to achieve long-term cardiovascular wellness.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Adeniyi serves as Medical Director of Cardiology and is an Assistant Professor of Medicine, where he remains actively involved in teaching and mentoring the next generation of physicians. He has contributed to numerous research projects and scientific presentations in cardiovascular medicine and continues to pursue innovation in cardiac imaging, electrophysiology, and preventive cardiology.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Adeniyi enjoys spending time with his family, staying active through fitness, and giving back through mentorship and community outreach. His Christian faith, commitment to service, and passion for improving lives continue to guide both his personal and professional journey.
